I am the Manager of Knowledge Transfer and Stakeholder Engagement for the BMFTR-funded CDRterra research program on land-based CO₂ removal. As part of the coordination team at LMU, I develop knowledge transfer formats to facilitate dialogue between the 17 consortia and policymakers, industry, and civil society regarding the research findings.
I studied social sciences with a focus on Science and Technology Studies at Leuphana University of Lüneburg and the University of Vienna. In my thesis, I focused in particular on the establishment of Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) as a component of climate policy, as well as its integration into climate policy discourses and governance structures.
Outside of academia, I have held various positions in politics and advocacy.
As the Transfer Manager for CDRterra at LMU, I combine these perspectives to strengthen the dialogue between climate research, politics, business, and civil society. My focus is on coordinating knowledge transfer, facilitating stakeholder dialogues, and contextualizing scientific findings within politically relevant frameworks.
